Powderhorn Packed With Competitors

Video will be available shortly.

The slopes at Powderhorn Resort were packed Saturday, as dozens of skiers and snowboarders join in the Colorado Discover Ability's 11th Annual Ski Challenge.

This race is a test of speed, agility and skill, but most of all, it proves anyone can do what they put their mind to. Dozens got the chance to test themselves on the slopes. Disabled and non–disabled skiers and snow boarders came together for some friendly competition. Although the event is considered a competition, no one has an advantage, instead this is all about determination.

While prizes will be given out to the fastest on the slopes, most of the competitors say that the best reward is the feeling they get after leaving their disability at the bottom of the hill for an entire day.
