Marijuana Bust At Loma Port Of Entry

By  |

Around 3:00 p.m. Thursday, a Port of Entry Officer made suspicious observations on a tractor trailer rig that came through.

The officer noticed that the driver of the truck, 26 year old Rajinder Saini, was wearing an expensive watch and thought that was odd because truck drivers typically do not make that much money.

According to the Mesa County Sheriff's Office, after Saini and his passenger, 21 year old Kendra Harris, both gave conflicting information a search was conducted. Officers found 153 pounds of marijuana worth about $154,000.

Saini and Harris were arrested, taken to the Mesa County Jail and face drug charges.
