City Councilman Running For Second Term

Grand Junction's economy is booming and so is growth in the area. These are issues lifelong resident Bruce Hill says he knows well. He's spent the last four years as a City Councilman, two of which he served as Mayor; and now he's hoping to hold his at large seat for another term.

There's a lot of work that goes into preparing for each City Council Meeting. On average Hill says he reads about 185 to 500 pages every two weeks so that he's well versed and informed on an issue before he casts a vote.

During his time on City Council Hill has been involved in many big projects including the Riverside Parkway, the growth of the 24 Road Corridor and the Seventh Street Improvement Project. Hill says he's excited and ready to look ahead to the future of Grand Junction.

Hill's a local businessman, community volunteer, father and husband. He says on top of all of this he hopes to represent the voice of Grand Junction for another four years.
