A convicted sex offender registered on Monday in Colorado after being arrested for failing to do so last week.
Thirty one year old, Kenneth Mills, was first arrested on Wednesday after authorities from Maine alerted Grand Junction Police that they had issued an arrest for his failure to de–register in Maine.
After Mills bonded out, police investigated the case further and found out that Mills has been living in Grand Junction since December of 2006.
The Grand Junction P.D. is currently gathering information from Maine and sending it to the District Attorney and City Attorney for review. This will determine whether to designate Mills as a sexually violent predator in Colorado, which he was designated as in Maine.
