Energy Forum & Expo Coming To Grand Junction

With a booming energy industry and an abundance of natural resources on the western slope it's no surprise that Grand Junction would attract hundreds for the Second Annual Energy Forum and Expo.

The event will be held in Grand Junction on Friday, February 23rd at Two Rivers Convention Center.

The forum which will bring together some of the industries brightest leaders and latest technology will go from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Some of the topics include nuclear energy use in the world and The Colorado Wind Power Project.

The expo will last from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Organizers say it will take a stimulating and educational look at the energy industry and it's role in the future. The expo is also a time when residents can learn more about job opportunities in the energy industry. The event is free and open to the public.
