A recent economic growth report shows that Grand Junction has sustainable growth, even through hard times.

The report, conducted by Global Insight, a company that specializes in economic and financial analysis; found that Grand Junction ranks 15th in the nation in the average annual growth rate for its gross metropolitan product for the years between 1995 and 2005. The Grand Junction Economic Partnership said these figures show that Grand Junction's Economy is strong and diverse.

Greely, which ranked 17th, was the only other Colorado community to rank in this report.
