Two Mesa County women were honored Saturday morning for their work in the social field.
State Representative Bernie Buescher was on hand to help honor Joanna Little, a human services advocate, and Vickie Clark, who works with the Department of Human Services, for their work in the social field. Both women say they find fulfillment giving their time to people in need of help.
Next Month, Clark and Little will be honored at the Colorado Social Work Month Awards at the University of Denver School of Social Work.
