Science Fair Winners Advance

Video will be available shortly.

After months of hard work and creativity, winners of the Western Colorado Science Fair were awarded.

The top two winners in the senior division are D.J. Horton and Lindsay Rugh, both from Hotchkiss High School. They will now go on to the International Competition in Albuquerque, New Mexico this May.
In addition to these winners, eight senior and twelve junior level projects will now go on to the Colorado State Competition.

Western Slope Science Fair Organizer, Rob Robison says, "At the state level next month they give away more scholarships and all kinds of job offers for summer work. Its exciting that they get resumes and its just fun for the students."

The 52th annual Colorado Science and Engineering Fair takes place on April 5–7th in Fort Collins.
