The results are in for how well Grand Junction’s economy performed this past year, and the numbers look good.
At an economic luncheon Monday hosted by the Grand Junction Area Chamber, a business professor from Mesa State College went over last year’s economy. Dr. Morgan Bridge said 2006 was a strong year for Grand Junction because of a diversified economy and growing population. According to forecasts, this year’s economic outlook is positive, and may be even stronger than 2006.
The Grand Junction Area Chamber has hosted these economic outlook luncheons for the past ten years.
