A 12–year–old student is facing a mandatory suspension for allegedly bringing marijuana and drug paraphernalia to West Middle School Monday.
According to the Grand Junction Police Department, students saw him with the marijuana and alerted the principal who then confronted him. Authorities were contacted and the 12–year–old was issued a misdemeanor summons. Officials say it's refreshing to know that students did the right thing by contacting the principal.
