25,000 miles, 50 million steps; that's what it takes to walk the world and LiveWell is challenging Mesa County residents to do it in just eight weeks.
LiveWell's "Mesa on the Move" pedometer challenge kicks off this Sunday. The challenge is to walk the world in eight weeks.
The first 100 people who go to the LiveWell office to register will receive their pedometers for free. After that they'll be sold for five bucks a piece. You don't have to be a LiveWell member to compete and organizers say it's a great activity for everyone.
Some of the folks here at 11 News are taking part in the challenge including Mike Defina, Elyse Webb and Natalie Pallone. We'll keep you posted on their progress.
