So you want to own a home, but you are not sure if you should buy new, used or build your own. That was the topic of a seminar at this weekend's 2007 Home Improvement and Remodeling Expo.
Designing and building a home is a dream for many. But a local company called U Build It helps make it a reality. The seminar discussed the benefits and challenges of construction. Some people like being in control. While others may feel too much pressure. And it is this type of creative freedom that many builders enjoy.
U Build It opened in Grand Junction three years ago. Because of the booming housing market here, business keeps growing steadily.
