More information was released Sunday regarding a man found murdered in Delta.
The Delta County Coroner has identified the victim as 59-year-old Eppie Giron, a long–time resident of Delta. Giron died of asphyxiation. His body was found Friday afternoon near the railroad tracks in the 900 block of Mill Street in Delta.
47-year-old Nicky Morales also of Delta was arrested and is facing charges of second degree murder and second degree assault. He's being held in the Delta County jail on $60,000 bond.
