Police are taking new steps to ensure your safety and solve any problems that might arise in your neighborhood more efficiently.
In the next couple of months you'll be able to go on-line and actually take a look at who's policing your neighborhood. The web page will be updated every 24 hours to reflect the officers on duty. If there's a problem in your area you can simply log on and find out who your key contact officer is and actually call them up on the phone.
The Police Department also hopes that one day in the near future non–emergency complaints can be filed on-line.
