An OSHA investigator got his first look at the accident scene in downtown Grand Junction which sent one worker to the hospital on Friday. The OSHA safety officer took pictures and asked questions as he was guided by the crane operator.

Crews say they are shocked at this rare accident, yet it could have been a whole lot worse.

Grand Junction Project Engineer Mark Curtis says, "The boom could have fallen a different way and gone into the building."

During this accident, one worker, Arturo Carolla Andrade was injured. He has since been upgraded to good condition and this has crews and those witnesses of the accident counting their blessings.
