The man injured in Friday's collapse of a construction crane at the city's downtown parking garage was released from the hospital Tuesday morning. This while OSHA investigators completed their on site investigation. They have yet to release what caused the boom to collapse, but they say in the past cranes have failed because of several different factors. The main reasons are an operator error, failure of the structure, or a mechanical defect.
Now that the investigating is done, the crane was finally removed piece by piece and the crushed car was towed away.
