It took one local bar hours of preparation to prepare for Saturday night's St. Patrick’s Day celebration.
It is the busiest day of the year for the bar at Grand Junction’s Old Chicago Restaurant. To prepare for the crowds, crews from Old C’s arrived as early as 6:00 a.m. to make sure there was plenty of corn beef and cabbage to go around. But the point of all this hoopla is to celebrate St. Patrick, the patron Saint of Ireland.
