The unseasonably warm temperatures, coupled with spring break, has brought lots of visitors to the Colorado National Monument.
According to the Park Ranger, more people visited the Monument this year compared to last year's spring break. The trailheads have been packed with hikers and several bicyclists are taking advantage of the warm weather. Although Spring does not officially arrive for a few more days, park officials remind visitors to bring plenty of water.
If you are going to be making a trip to the Monument, park officials say drive slow because some of the roads are torn up for re-pavement.
