A Grand Junction man is arrested after allegedly trying to get a friend to sell dynamite and his younger sister to sell meth.
Nineteen year old Raymond Ortiz is the second person to face charges after authorities discovered dynamite in an apartment two weeks ago. Ortiz is accused of giving dynamite to twenty seven year old Jenifer Vroman–Leonard and asking her to sell it. Officers found the dynamite and a timing device wrapped in a sweater and a towel in a closet at Vroman–Leonard's apartment. She has been charged with possession of an explosive device and will be back in court in early April.
Ortiz is being held on a $150,000 bond and is charged with possession of an explosive device.
