A woman and a young girl suffered only minor injuries after their SUV and camper flip over on Interstate 70 Saturday morning.
According to the Colorado State Patrol, around 10:45 a.m. a woman who was towing a camper trailer behind her Tahoe, overcorrected while trying to enter into the passing lane which caused the rig to start fishtailing. The trailer broke off the hitch and rolled onto its side, while the Tahoe completely flipped over.
Both of the occupants were wearing seat-belts and suffered only minor injuries. Traffic was backed up for about an hour on the interstate. The woman was cited for reckless driving.
