A man says his flip flops are to blame for sending his Corvette crashing into a Clifton convenience store Easter morning.
Robert Pena was pulling up to C&F Food Store on 32 Road to get a soda when he says his flip flops got caught up on the accelerator.
Pena's Corvette went through the front window causing some extensive damage to the store. His car however barely got a scratch on it.
No one was injured in the crash and Pena was cited for careless driving.
