Montrose, Colo. (KKCO) – The body of a missing elderly man from Montrose has been found inside his car at the bottom of a ravine on Red Mountain Pass.

Tom Boylan has been missing for two weeks. His wrecked vehicle was found around 10 a.m. Thursday and the pass was closed for several hours while crews worked to retreive him. Officials say he missed a sharp turn on US Highway 550 and his vehicle 400 feet down an embankment.

The 82-year-old was last seen the night of Oct. 20 when he took off in his 1990 Chevy Suburban.
