Monday morning, the Honorable Judge Bottger swore in nine new Court Appointed Special Advocates. Each CASA volunteer underwent extensive training for two months.
CASA volunteers serve abused and neglected children in the foster care system. Their goal is to help judges make the best decisions for children in Mesa County.
The volunteers say the are ready and excited to get to work.
