Grand Junction Police say they've made a significant break in a brutal beating case on Orchard Mesa over the weekend.
Investigators aren't ready to release many details but say there have been several overnight events leading to the arrest of two suspects. Police say one of those suspects is on probation stemming from an earlier theft of weapons from the De Beque Marshall's office.
Police say evidence collected at the scene of the beating may lead to additional arrests.
