MESA COUNTY, Colo. (KKCO) - Having a hard time making your mortgage payments? If you're struggling and on the verge of foreclosure there is help out there.
The Western Colorado Foreclosure Prevention Assistance Fair is Saturday, Nov. 21, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Canyon View Vineyard Church located at 736 24 1/2 Road.
The fair will have experts on everything from available community resources to counseling.
To meet with a lender or counselor please bring the following:
-Documentation of all current household income
-Most recent tax return
-Three months of bank statements
-Copy of loan closing documents
-Verification of current homeowners insurance
-Most recent mortgage statement (or at least loan number, amount past due, lender name and loan balance).
-Any legal correspondence and notices received
