GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - It’s official, the FCI Construction company won the bid for the first part of the Downtown Uplift project.
City Council says they received complains about FCI getting the contract but say they agreed the lowest bid was supposed to win, and FCI came in with a bid just below $2.5 million, potentially great news for Grand Junction’s local economy.
Construction on Phase 1 of the project begins in early January and must be completed by early June.
