Worst toys of 2009 according to WATCH
Hazardous toys this year While Santa might be making his list and checking it twice there’s another list parents should be checking before starting their toy shopping this year: The World Against Toys Causing Harm Top Ten Worst Toys of 2009 list.

While Santa might be making his list and checking it twice there’s another list parents should be checking before starting their toy shopping this year: The World Against Toys Causing Harm Top Ten Worst Toys of 2009 list.
A Disney-Pixar Wall–E foam rocket launcher, X-Men Origins Slashin' Action Wolverine and The Dark Knight Batman figure all made the list.
Each toy on the list holds a potential hazard to small children. Toys For The Fun of It, owner Karin Allen says parents should keep a couple of things in mind when shopping for toys this year. "For small kids the first and most important thing is no small parts," she says. Small parts usually present chocking hazards.
Another important thing to look for is the age suggestion on the box. Allen says, "The companies we deal with do a really good job of putting age recommendations on the box." But even those shouldn't be taken at face value. Use common sense and if you aren’t sure, Allen says ask. "That's why we are here, we are the experts."
Another good test is to play with the toy yourself. If you can pull something apart your children might be able to as well.
