GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - It was a busy day at a local medical marijuana dispensary, dozens of people sought a marijuana license.
T.H.C. With T.L.C. flew in Doctor Howard Weiss from Denver to hand out permits for patients who say they need relief from the drug.
The dispensary says it took a only week for them to fill 90 appointments for this weekend and because of all the business the dispensary says this may be a more common event.
"We are going to start offering this clinic monthly at the $90 fee." says the owner of the dispensary, Gregg Davis, "we had an advertisement out and we got 180 people who want to be seen."
All of the patients who came into the dispensary were seen by appointment only, and Davis told 11 news the next round of doctor evaluations will be in about three weeks.
