A former award winning elementary school teacher who has been in and out of court has accepted a plea agreement that could keep her out of jail.
Thursday morning Tammie Lee Reed pleaded guilty to possessing more than a gram of methamphetamine and theft. By doing so, two other cases and all other charges against Reed were dismissed.
Under the plea agreement, Reed would be on probation and work release for up to two years. She would also have to comply with random drug testing.
Reed will be back in court for sentencing in mid June.
