DENVER (AP) Colorado's unemployment rate has fallen two-tenths of a percentage point to 3.6 percent in March -- the lowest level in nearly six years.
The rate compares with 3.8 percent in February of this year, and 4.4 percent in March 2006.
The state Department of Labor and Employment reports total employment and unemployment both fell from the previous month, officials said. The number of employed Coloradans fell 12,200 to 2.57 million.
The number of unemployed residents fell 3,800 to 97,300.
