A passenger on a Grand Valley Transit Bus gets more than just a ride when a window is shot out.
The shooting happened in Palisade around 7:30 Tuesday morning on S. Iowa.
According to Palisade Police, someone used either a BB gun or a pellet gun to shoot out the window. The bullet didn't go through the window but it was enough to shatter it.
At this time there's no suspect information, but police believe it might have been done by a juvenile. They plan to canvass the neighborhood to see if anyone in the area owns a BB or pellet gun.
The cost of replacing the window is around $500.
