Student Faces Charges After Seven-Year-Old Finds Pipe On Bus Save Email Print

A | A | A

A Palisade High School student is facing charges after her marijuana pipe is found on a school bus by a seven–year–old.

According to police, the teen went to the bus driver to see if he had found her pipe on the bus. Police say last week a first grader found the pipe and tried to give it to the bus driver who apparently wouldn't take it. The seven–year–old then gave it to his fifth grade friend who brought it home to his parents.

The bus driver told police he was distracted when the boy tried to give him the pipe and didn't realize what it was.

Police say it's unusual for someone to try and claim something illegal that they've lost. They plan to charge the Palisade High School Student with possession of drug paraphernalia.
