A funeral service for a 27–year–old Grand Junction man who was killed while fighting in Iraq is scheduled for Friday and Saturday.
Corporal Wade Oglesby was killed last Wednesday when the Humvee he was driving hit an improvised explosive device north of Baghdad.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Martin's Mortuary. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Gardens and Cemetery.
Oglesby is remembered by friends and family as a man who always put the needs of others first.
The visitation and services are open to the public.
