Craig, Colo. (AP) Two Moffat County High School students have been suspended and a police investigation is under way after the teens allegedly threatened violence last week.
Published reports say that three witnesses told police they saw a ``hit list'' compiled by the students. They said the list had the names of one student and one teacher on it.
Authorities say they have not been able to locate the list.
The nature of the alleged threats wasn't immediately known. But Police Chief Walt Vanatta says investigators have turned up no evidence the teens had weapons or any access to weapons.
Vanatta says results of the police investigation could be turned over to prosecutors by the end of the week. Prosecutors would then decide whether to file charges.
