"Giggles" Transported To Otero County To Face Internet Sex Charges

A Grand Junction man who performs as "Giggles" the clown is facing four felony charges out of Otero County. On Thursday officials from Otero came to get him from the Mesa County Jail.

The arrest affidavit doesn't paint a pretty picture of Antonio Lazcano, also known as "Giggles" the clown. In it police say are sexually explicit and extremely graphic chats between Lazcano and who they say he clearly thought was an 11-year-old girl. But it wasn't a child, it was Lisa Doney, a mother who found pornographic pictures of Lazcano in her 12–year–old daughters e–mail.

Using the screen name chelseagirl409, Doney asks Lazcano if it bothers him that she is barely 12. Lazcano replies, "No. I like them young." He even brags about dating a 14-year-old girl.

In another chat Lazcano tells the girl how to masturbate and then sends a live video to her of himself doing just that. Doney tells Lazcano that she lives in Canyon City, Colorado and Lazcano suggests a meeting. He types, "Well I will make arrangements to see you and when I go out there I will let you know what room I am staying at, at the Best Western."

Lazcano is now facing charges of Internet sexual exploitation of a child, Internet luring of a child, enticement of a child and obscenity.

At the time of his arrest, Lazcano was living next to Dos Rios Elementary School.

Doney says she called law enforcement in Grand Junction and Mesa County to warn them. But authorities say they can't find any report of a complaint filed by Doney about Lazcano.

Lazcano has worked as "Giggles" the clown at the Downtown Farmers Market, the Southwest Fest and many birthday parties here in the Grand Valley.
