Special Olympians from all over School District 51 gathered at Stocker Stadium Tuesday morning for some friendly competition.
More than 240 Special Olympians from 26 different local schools competed.
From running to throwing to long jumping, all participants got the chance to show off their skills. They also got to relax and eat a little lunch in the sun.
Roughly 75 volunteers and 50 coaches and teachers helped to put on the Special Olympics.
