For the second time in two weeks a piece of Art on the Corner is vandalized and now police are offering a reward.
"Metamorphosis", a bronze statue, was knocked off its pedestal at Second and Main Streets.
Police say the vandals had to use a significant amount of force to rip the statue off.
You may remember earlier this month a piece called the "Sunriser" was also vandalized.
The Grand Junction Police Department is working with the Downtown Development Authority and the Arts Commission to figure out a way to better protect the art. A $1,000 reward for any information that leads to an arrest is being offered.
In April a statue of a pig was stolen, police did make an arrest in that case.
