Aspen Schools Closed Because of Threatening Graffiti

Aspen, Colo. (AP) Classes at Aspen's elementary, middle school and high school are canceled today because of threatening graffiti found on a portable bathroom wall.

Sheriff's officials says the graffiti and threat is similar to one found last week indicating that all Mexicans working at the Snowmass Base Village construction would be shot. That attack was supposed to happen last Friday, but didn't.

The latest threat was discovered by workers at the Aspen Middle School construction site and threatened an attack Friday morning at 8:46. The cancellation happens a day after two men in camouflage forced a lockdown and canceled classes at Boulder High School.
