Fruita Teacher Lives On Through Scholarship Fund


A scholarship has been established in the name of a Fruita teacher who died while on a school field trip.

The Fruita Rotary Club has established a scholarship in the name of Michael Williams.

The 52-year-old was a science teacher at Fruita Monument High School who suffered a heart attack during a trip to Arches National Park.

Contributions to the Mike Williams Memorial Scholarship fund can be made to Stone Hill National located at 138 S. Park Sq. Suite 203 in Fruita or for more information call 858–0730.
