When most of us think of Downtown Grand Junction Main Street comes to mind, but city officials are hoping a redesign project will add Colorado Avenue to the mix.
In the early 1960's, much of Colorado Avenue was sacrificed to make way for parking for Main Street businesses. Now decades later, the City of Grand Junction and the Downtown Development Authority are looking to revamp the corridor.
