It's difficult to put into words what it feels like to have cancer, but for some just adding a little color can help.
Roaming the halls of the advanced medicine pavilion at St. Mary's Hospital it may be easy to mistake the hospital for a museum.
The Lilly Oncology on Canvas International Art Competition features art from 50 cancer patients and survivors from over 40 countries.
“By seeing all of these pieces, from many different countries it shows that we are all the same and wherever you are as a cancer survivor, we're all experiencing the same emotions and experiences.”
The exhibit will be in the Cancer Center lobby until June 9th.
