Two Killed In Crash

Video will be available shortly.

It was a sad scene Thursday morning as law enforcement arrived to find two people dead from a car accident and the driver barley hanging onto life.

The accident involving two elderly men and an elderly woman happened just after 9:30 a.m. on Highway 141 near mile marker 135.

According to the Colorado State Patrol, the elderly woman was driving a blue Chevy when for an unknown reason she veered off the road. The car then hit the culvert which sent it flying into the air and then it came to rest on its nose.

The two men inside the car died at the scene of the accident, the driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation, but authorities believe a medical condition may have played a role in it.

The two men that died in the crash weren't wearing seatbelts. The driver was and officials say that's what saved her life.
