More than 70 people from around the Grand Valley have donated their time to help the Atchley family search for missing twenty year old John Atchley. He was last seen on Friday night.

Volunteers are scattered along the canal searching and hoping for the best. John's friends and co-workers from Sportsman’s Warehouse are hoping the same, so more than 40 employees are helping out as well.

Our own 11 News Reporter Mike Defina spent the weekend covering this story and now he's donating his time.

11 News Reporter, Mike Defina says,"I wanted to do something and even though my time is something small, hopefully it will pay off for us all and their will be a positive outcome."

Until then that positive outcome arrives, friends and family members won't stop searching.

Joshua Atchley, John's brother says, "I just hope we can get to the bottom of this."

If you would like to volunteer or donate money to supply searchers with food and water contact Randy Atchley at 434– 1760. If you have any information on the whereabouts of Atchley contact Crime Stoppers at 241– stop.
