A DUI checkpoint in Mesa County nets two arrests Saturday night.
The checkpoint was set up near I– 70B and Warrior Way to nab drunk drivers.
Two arrests were made, one for driving drunk and the other was in possession of methamphetamine and Colorado State Patrol Troopers have had a busy weekend.
On Friday, six DUI arrests were made, Saturday there were seven and through the first half of Sunday, they have arrested one person for driving under the influence.
The checkpoint and increased patrol are part of the Heat Is On campaign and the Target Zero Campaign.
