Usually it's a fireman rescuing a cat from a tree, but on Saturday it was a volunteer from the Division of Wildlife rescuing baby ducks.
Early Saturday morning a mother duck walked her eight chicks across a road near the 12th Street roundabout, but when she got to the other side there were only five.
Turns out three of the chicks fell through a storm sewer.
The chicks were later rescued by volunteers, they are being taken to the veterinary hospital to be rehabilitated before they can be put back in the wild.
