Stabbing Victim Wants Answers

On May 15th a knife pierced Brian Paul's chest. Paul says he lost six pints of blood when the blade cut through his arm and punctured his lung. He also spent several days in critical condition at St. Mary's Hospital.

Paul says his former roommate and friend Henry Bostelman stabbed him, "It was an attempted murder, he had a little smirk on his face as the knife was going into my chest."

Paul says he wants answers as to why Bostelman wasn't arrested.

Investigators with the Mesa County Sheriff's Office have interviewed Bostelman, and say the case is still under investigation. Spokesperson Norma Mestas says the Sheriff's Office is in contact with Paul and is keeping him posted on the investigation.

Paul says his physical wounds will heal; but his friendship with Bostelman is forever severed.

Bostelman is being held at the Mesa County Jail on a parole violation.
