Grand Junction: City of Grand Junction trash pick up for Wednesday, June 6 may be delayed for some residents and businesses until Thursday. High winds forced the closure of the landfill at around 7:30 a.m., and the City’s Solid Waste division has not been able to empty their trash trucks.
“We’ll pick up as much trash as possible today until the trucks are filled,” said Rob Laurin, Solid Waste Supervisor. “If your trash was to be collected today and wasn’t, it will be collected tomorrow along with Thursday’s regular route.
