The 5th Annual Downtown Farmer's Market kicked off on Thursday. There is produce, music and tons of specialty items filling the streets.
The farmer's market is held every Thursday night from 5:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. and will run until September 13th.

Kathy Dirks, Downtown Partnership Organizer says, "Its an absolutely wonderful community event. Everyone comes to Main Street and we will have produce, hand crafted items from many vendors. As the market goes on we will get in new produce. There will be entertainment on every block, it's just something for all ages."

There are some road closures to take note of. Every Thursday, Main Street will close down at 2 p.m. At 5:00 p.m. 4th and 5th Streets will close down.

This event is free, but of course you are going to want to bring along some money to pick up some of the produce and specialty items.
