Fingerprints Collected At Sonic Could Help Solve Burglary

Authorities are hoping fingerprints from the scene of a burglary will lead them to the suspects responsible for stealing electronics from the new Sonic that's under construction in Clifton.

Fingerprints have been collected from the construction site near 32 Road and the I-70 business loop. In a couple of days lab results should be available.

According to the Mesa County Sheriff's Department, approximately $4,000.00 worth of electronics were stolen from Sonic. Most of the equipment is thought to be video monitors and headsets.

The break in is believed to have happened in the early morning hours Saturday.

The burglars are at large and the case is still under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the Anonymous Crimestoppers Tip Line at 241-STOP.
