Grand Junction's 125th birthday is right around the corner and the city has big plans to celebrate, but roughly 300 volunteers are still needed to get off the ground.

The City of Grand Junction is looking for volunteers for all types of jobs. They ask for a three hour time commitment or more. Two meetings will be held to inform and place the volunteers. If you are interested go to City Hall on Monday or Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m. The meetings will last about one hour. If you can not make it to the meeting, but would like to help out, contact Sam Rainguet at 244- 1507.
